Fluid Supervisor
About the job Fluid Supervisor
Job Description:
- Plan and manage the wellsite drilling/completion fluid, solids control, cementing and mud-cooler operations, ensuring compliance with Company's Standards and Procedures.
- Provide real-time technical advice, troubleshoot problems (like fluid losses, contamination), and optimize fluid properties during operations.
- Forecast material needs, manage fluid/equipment inventory, optimize storage, and ensure accurate material tracking.
- Ensure solids control and mud-cooler equipment is optimal for performance.
- Monitor daily fluid and cementing reports ensure its accuracy and advise the recommended actions for supervisors.
- Involve with Company's on daily and/or section work instruction write-up and review discussion.
- Active, visible and committed in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) by applying a high priority to safety performance of all drilling and completion operations.
- Actively participated in HAZID/HAZOP/JSA/RA and other HSE program.
- Capture all lessons learnt (including AAR) into Company's database and actively participate in Lessons Learnt/QAQC operating rhythm.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Drilling & Completions fluids/cementing/mud-cooler/stress-caging operations related; with minimum of 5 years of HTHP (or minimum 5 HTHP wells) experience.
- Proven operator-side experience in the North Malay Basin and/or JDA area .
- Proposed personnel must possess a tertiary qualification (especially in engineering or equivalent work experience).
- Excellent communication, advisory, interpersonal and writing skills in English.
- Analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
