Senior Drilling Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute deepwater drilling programmes in line with safety, cost, and schedule requirements
• Prepare well designs, drilling procedures, risk assessments, and cost estimates
• Support well execution, performance monitoring, and post well analysis
• Work closely with subsurface, completion, HSE, and operations teams to ensure integrated well delivery
• Provide technical input on contractors, rigs, drilling services, and equipment selection
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

Key Requirements

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong experience as a Drilling Engineer / Senior Drilling Engineer within Oil & Gas E&P
• Proven deepwater (offshore) drilling experience
• Solid knowledge of well design, drilling hydraulics, well control, and drilling optimisation
• Experience working with drilling contractors and service providers
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills
