QA/QC Technician
About the job QA/QC Technician
- Have a minimum of eight (8) years experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Minimum of five (5) years documented experience in QAQC of Drilling Tools and Equipment.
- Inspection of drill strings and downhole tools to DS-1 and NS-2 standards.
- Wellhead Equipment, Xmas Tree, Valves, Casing and Tubing Hangers and Running Tools, MPD Equipment including FAT, NDE, hydrostatic and stack-up testing.
- OCTG specification and maintenance standards, including premium thread connections.
- OCTG inspection including but not limited to VTI, Visual body inspection, full length API drifting and full length MPI.
- Completion sub-assembly, FAT and SIT of completion equipment.
- Piping inspection, equipment certification and pressure vessel inspection for Well Testing equipment.
- Witnessing, monitoring, inspecting and/or manufacturing of Drilling & Completion tools and OCTG.
- Audit of service providers QA/QC programs, quality systems and quality plans.
- Non-conformance reporting and close out.
- Familiar with the latest editions of API Spec 5CT, API Spec Q1, API RP 7G, API RP 7G-2, API RP 5A5, NS-2 and DS-1 Standards.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting procedures and both DNV and BS EN specifications.
