Mechanical Inspector

Qualification

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, STPM or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant mechanical/static equipment inspection experience.
• Experienced in inspecting pressure vessels, piping, tanks, heat exchangers, bolted flange joints (JIT) and pressure relief devices (PRD).
• Knowledge of applicable ASME/API inspection and repair codes, NDT, welding, DOSH/DOE requirements, coating failures and corrosion under insulation (CUI).
• Able to interpret P&IDs, piping isometrics, GA and equipment drawings, and prepare accurate inspection reports.
• API 510, API 570 or API 653 certification and turnaround/shutdown inspection experience are preferred.
