Plant Automation & Control Engineer role

We're looking for a Plant Automation & Control Engineer to join our client's team focused on driving production quality, efficiency, and reliability through smart automation.

This role focuses on site support and programming, with a strong emphasis on DeltaV DCS and PI historian technologies. If you're passionate about controls engineering and enjoy solving moderately complex challenges with autonomy, this could be a great match.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting safe and reliable operations through instrumentation and automation engineering
  
• Delivering services and standards across capital projects
  
• Monitoring project progress and resource allocation
  
• Implementing audit controls and identifying performance improvement opportunities
  
• Collaborating with senior engineers and solving technical issues independently
  
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule (every 3 weeks, remote after hours)
  

What we're looking for:

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
  
• Strong knowledge of controls and automation (DeltaV DCS experience preferred)
  
• Intermediate project management and solid technical/math skills
  
• Familiarity with engineering standards and instrumentation principles
