The Role
As a Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality in software designed to improve healthcare technology. You'll work closely with developers and cross-functional teams to create and automate tests, assess testability, and ensure that the software meets rigorous quality standards. This is an exciting chance to apply your testing expertise in a purpose-driven environment, where your work directly contributes to advancements in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing software requirements and specifications to design both manual and automated tests.
- Executing and improving test procedures for optimal software testing efficiency.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects and errors through both manual and automated testing.
- Collaborating with developers to diagnose and resolve issues discovered during testing.
- Automating test processes to enhance testing effectiveness and speed.
- Conducting post-release testing to ensure requirements are met and software works as expected.
- Working across teams to ensure quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
Your Career So Far
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role with test automation exposure.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Exposure to Jira, GitHub, or similar tools.
- Proven effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A desire to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with different development methodologies.
Desirable:
- Exposure to AWS and Azure cloud services.
- Experience with API testing and tools.
- Testing experience in a healthcare or regulated environment.
