About the Role

This position is ideal for a leader passionate about building capability, driving process excellence, and strengthening strategic business engagement. With a healthy balance focused predominantly on team support and a smaller time factor on requirements themselves, you will coach, develop, and uplift a team of Business Analysts while partnering closely with delivery squads and business stakeholders.


What You'll Lead

Leadership & Capability Development

  • Mentor and develop a diverse BA team.
  • Work in partnership with your leadership peers to guide chapter maturity and ways of working.
  • Drive consistency, quality, and professional standards across all BA outputs.

Process Improvement & Strategic Enablement

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvement opportunities across divisions.
  • Champion proactive business engagement and uplift process excellence.
  • Plan ahead to address delivery bottlenecks and optimise resourcing.

Governance & BA Standards

  • Lead and enhance best-practice documentation and process standardisation (e.g., Promapp).
  • Strengthen frameworks, templates, and methodology adoption across the BA Chapter.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work across multiple squads alongside Product Owners, Testers, Solution Architects.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure BA outcomes align with broader organisational initiatives.

Your Experience

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Background in complex enterprise technology environments and customer facing
  • Tertiary qualification or demonstrated capability through experience.
  • Professional certification in business analysis (IIBA, BCS, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and project delivery lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly assimilate information, apply analytical thinking, and lead scoping and planning.
  • Proven experience in business process analysis and business process re-engineering.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Promapp, and other BA platforms
