Description
client in Waltham, MA that is seeking a Maximo INGIS Test Lead with deep, hands-on knowledge of the INGIS environment. The ideal candidate has previously worked directly inside the INGIS ecosystem, understands its architecture end-to-end, and has executed and led testing activities within this environment. This is a senior, leadership-level role requiring the ability to guide and manage a QA team of 10-15 testers, interface with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive quality across a large, multi-year transformation program. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all testing phases within a Maximo INGIS environment, leveraging expert-level domain knowledge
- Provide hands-on expertise in test design, test execution, defect management, and environment validation specifically within INGIS
- Manage and mentor a QA team of 10-15 testers; assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure quality delivery
- Develop detailed test strategies, plans, and scripts aligned to INGIS system workflows, configurations, and integrations
- Oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT activities
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of INGIS modules, interfaces, and data flows to proactively identify gaps and risks
- Collaborate with business, technical, development, and operations teams to ensure seamless test coverage
- Serve as the primary point of contact for QA reporting, stakeholder communication, and project leadership updates
- Drive continuous improvements in test processes, tooling, and documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA leadership roles, including managing teams of 10-15 testers
- Extensive hands-on experience with Maximo INGIS - must know the environment inside and out
- Proven ability to lead testing within INGIS specifically (not just Maximo general experience)
- Strong understanding of INGIS business processes, configurations, integrations, and data structures
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience delivering testing within complex, long-duration programs (multi-year)
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on, depending on project needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB or related QA certifications
- Experience in utilities, infrastructure, energy, or government sectors
- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (nice to have, not required)
Work Environment:
- Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite required
