About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of a modern data platform and scale it into a high-performing, reliable infrastructure. This is a key role where you will define best practices, optimize performance, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the entire data platform (Snowflake or similar)

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines

  • Implement monitoring and improve data reliability

  • Standardize and optimize data models for reporting, dashboards, and ML use cases

  • Enable secure and user-friendly data access across teams

  • Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to ensure data consistency

  • Implement testing, CI/CD, and documentation best practices

  • Drive infrastructure and tooling decisions

Key Impact Areas

  • Redesign data models to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy

  • Improve pipeline reliability and monitoring systems

  • Optimize data warehouse costs

  • Build data layers that support both technical and non-technical users

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering

  • Strong experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift

  • Advanced SQL skills with performance optimization experience

  • Hands-on experience with dbt or similar tools

  • Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines

  • Experience owning data infrastructure end-to-end

  • Strong understanding of data quality and monitoring frameworks
