Job Summary

The Head of Laboratory Services will provide strategic and clinical leadership for all laboratory operations, ensuring accurate diagnostics, compliance with regulatory standards, and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Leadership

• Oversee all laboratory operations and diagnostic services
• Ensure quality control and accuracy of test results

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to medical laboratory regulations and standards

Team Management

• Lead and supervise laboratory staff

Operational Excellence

• Improve efficiency, turnaround time, and service delivery

Educational Requirements

• MBBS (mandatory)
• Fellowship qualification (Pathology or related field)
• Valid MDCN registration

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years post-fellowship experience
