About The Job: 

You will oversee networks, servers, cloud systems, and end-user computing to guarantee high system availability and minimal downtime. You will also manage Microsoft 365 administration and enforce strong security controls to protect company data and systems.

You will lead and supervise the infrastructure and support teams, ensuring incidents are resolved promptly and service levels are consistently met. A key part of your responsibility will also involve developing and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the organisation can quickly recover from disruptions.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise infrastructure including network architecture, server environments, cloud platforms, and user computing systems.
• Provide oversight of Microsoft 365 services, ensuring secure configuration, effective identity management, and compliance with internal security standards.
• Establish and maintain robust backup, recovery, and continuity frameworks to safeguard business operations against disruptions.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of infrastructure and IT support teams, ensuring clear accountability, performance standards, and service quality.
• Proactively monitor system health, identify potential risks, and implement preventive measures to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with senior management to align infrastructure strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting structures, and performance dashboards for IT operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of networks, servers, cloud environments, and Microsoft 365.
• Leadership and team management capability.
• Risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and ensure minimal downtime.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
