About the Job
You are responsible for leading architectural design, planning, and execution across real estate and development projects. The role ensures that all designs meet functional, regulatory, aesthetic, and commercial objectives while overseeing on-site execution to guarantee quality, safety, and adherence to approved plans.
You must be a highly innovative, detail-oriented professional with strong technical competence, hands-on site experience, and the ability to deliver projects from concept to completion.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities
Architectural Design & Development
- Lead architectural design from concept development through detailed design and construction documentation.
- Prepare, review, and approve architectural drawings, layouts, and technical specifications using industry-standard tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
- Ensure all designs align with project objectives, functional requirements, and aesthetic standards.
- Interpret project briefs and translate them into practical, buildable architectural solutions.
- Recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and construction methods aligned with durability, budget, and design intent.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all architectural works comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and statutory approvals.
- Coordinate and manage submission of drawings for regulatory approvals and permits.
- Maintain full documentation compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all drawings and design outputs meet professional and regulatory standards.
Project Supervision & Site Management
- Provide consistent on-site supervision to ensure construction aligns with approved designs and specifications.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure work quality meets architectural standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify deviations, defects, or non-compliance issues.
- Work closely with contractors to resolve technical and design-related challenges promptly.
- Ensure site activities follow approved schedules and construction methodologies.
Contractor & Consultant Coordination
- Serve as the main architectural liaison between contractors, engineers, and consultants.
- Review and integrate structural, MEP, and civil drawings into the overall project design.
- Lead coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless execution.
- Evaluate contractor proposals, variations, and change requests from a design and cost perspective.
Quality Control & Project Delivery
- Enforce quality assurance standards across all construction activities.
- Conduct inspections and sign-offs at key project milestones.
- Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Oversee snagging, defect rectification, and final quality checks prior to handover.
Job Requirement Control & Project Delivery
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture (BSc / B.Arch) — Mandatory

Professional Certification (NIA, ARCON or equivalent) — Required

Experience

Minimum of 7–10 years relevant experience in architectural design and project execution.

Proven experience working in real estate development, architectural firms, or construction companies.

Strong background in supervising medium to large-scale building projects.

Demonstrated experience working on-site with contractors and consultants.
