Role Overview
The Head of Construction will provide strategic, operational, and technical leadership across all construction projects. The role is responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, cost control, quality assurance, and safety compliance to ensure timely and profitable project delivery.
This is a senior leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement the construction strategy aligned with the companys growth objectives.

Provide executive oversight for all ongoing and upcoming projects.

Advise leadership on construction feasibility, budgeting, and risk exposure.
2. Project Execution & Delivery

Oversee end-to-end construction lifecycle from pre-construction to handover.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Approve project schedules, resource allocation plans, and procurement strategies.
3. Budgeting & Commercial Oversight

Lead project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.

Monitor financial performance of projects and ensure profitability targets are achieved.

Negotiate major contracts with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
4. Team & Stakeholder Management

Lead and manage Project Managers, Site Engineers, and technical teams.

Build strong relationships with consultants, regulatory authorities, and subcontractors.

Foster a high-performance culture across project sites.
5. Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure strict compliance with building regulations, statutory requirements, and HSE standards.

Implement quality assurance frameworks across all projects.

Conduct regular site inspections and performance reviews.
6. Risk & Performance Management

Identify operational and financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Track KPIs across projects and provide regular executive reports.

Drive continuous improvement in construction processes and systems.
Key Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 12–15 years construction experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.

Proven track record managing large-scale residential and/or commercial developments.

Strong financial and commercial management skills.

Deep knowledge of construction methodologies, procurement, and contract management.
