A specialised retail outlet focused on high-end lubricants and automotive fluids is seeking to recruit responsible and experienced Company Drivers. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-conscious, reliable, and familiar with road networks within Lagos.

Role Overview

The Company Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, and staff as required. The role requires a high level of professionalism, adherence to road safety regulations, and proper handling of company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles for deliveries, errands, and official assignments
• Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods and personnel
• Plan efficient routes to avoid delays and ensure prompt delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicle
• Conduct routine checks on vehicle (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, etc.)
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
• Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Assist with loading and offloading of goods when necessary
• Ensure security and safety of goods during transit

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE qualification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate or delivery role
• Good knowledge of Lagos road networks, especially Surulere and surrounding areas
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills
