Position Overview

The Actuarial Analyst will support actuarial reporting, financial modeling, product analysis, and risk evaluation activities within the organization. The role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial and statistical data to support business decision-making.
The ideal candidate will contribute to pricing models, reserving analysis, forecasting, and regulatory reporting while collaborating with finance, underwriting, risk, and product development teams.

Primary Responsibilities

Actuarial Analysis & Reporting

  • Support actuarial valuation processes and periodic reporting activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of reserves, liabilities, and profitability analysis.
  • Perform experience investigations and trend analysis using actuarial techniques.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to support business and regulatory requirements.

  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting

  • Build and maintain actuarial models for pricing, projections, and scenario analysis.
  • Support forecasting activities related to premiums, claims, and profitability.
  • Analyze financial and insurance data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist with embedded value calculations and financial impact assessments.

       Product & Pricing Support

  • Contribute to the pricing and review of insurance products.
  • Evaluate product performance and recommend pricing adjustments where necessary.
  • Support profitability assessments and product sustainability analysis.
  • Collaborate with product and underwriting teams on new initiatives.

       Risk & Regulatory Complaince

  • Support compliance with actuarial standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with solvency assessments and risk-based capital analysis.
  • Participate in audit requests and actuarial governance processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of actuarial data and assumptions.

Candidate Requirements
Academic Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative discipline

Professional Qualification
Progress toward actuarial certification (SOA, IFoA, CAS, or equivalent) is highly preferred.

Experience
2–5 years relevant actuarial, financial analysis, or insurance experience.
Prior experience within life insurance or financial services is an advantage.
