About the Role

You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their insurance needs, and recommending appropriate insurance solutions. The role requires proactive client engagement, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

You will leverage multiple sales channels including cold calls, digital communication, and direct client engagement to generate new business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Business Development

  • Identify and prospect potential clients including individuals and businesses.
  • Conduct market research to understand target audiences and their insurance needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve or exceed monthly sales quotas.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional engagement and timely service delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure continued engagement and retention.

Insurance Advisory & Sales

  • Explain the benefits, features, and limitations of available insurance packages to prospective clients.
  • Prepare tailored insurance offers that meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Customize insurance programs where necessary to accommodate clients requirements.

Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Use various sales methods including video meetings, cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to generate leads.
  • Follow up on prospective clients to close sales opportunities.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of client orders and policy processing.

Client Records & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
  • Complete application forms and maintain organized sales reports.
  • Review existing client policies periodically to identify opportunities for updates or additional coverage.

Reporting Structure

Reports To: Respective Team Leads

Grade: Executive to Senior Executive

Qualification/Experience

  • Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, or the insurance industry.
  • Proven experience generating leads and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Good understanding of insurance products and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Presentable and personable with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and credible when interacting with clients.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build trust and confidence with clients.
