About the Job

You will support the marketing engine, driving audience awareness and engagement for a movie production. You are responsible for executing marketing campaigns, managing social media presence, coordinating promotional materials, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

You must be creative, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. You must be able to work under tight deadlines, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and deliver measurable marketing results.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Create, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages promptly.
  • Track social media metrics and report performance weekly.
  • Identify trending topics and opportunities for organic reach.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms.

Content Creation & Coordination

  • Develop engaging copy for social posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and designers for content production.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing strategy.
  • Repurpose content across platforms and formats to maximize reach.

Campaign Execution

  • Execute marketing campaigns according to approved plans and timelines.
  • Coordinate promotional activities, events, and influencer partnerships.
  • Ensure campaign deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Track campaign progress and report results to the Head of Marketing.

Marketing Administration

  • Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure all activities are scheduled.
  • Track marketing expenses and ensure spending stays within budget.
  • Organize marketing files, assets, and documentation systematically.
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and external agencies.
  • Prepare marketing materials for distribution and events.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Attend daily stand-ups and weekly marketing meetings.
  • Communicate progress and challenges clearly to the Head of Marketing.
  • Collaborate with the production team on behind-the-scenes content opportunities.
  • Liaise with cast, crew, and partners on promotional activities.
  • Support media inquiries and press coordination as directed.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools.
  • Compile weekly marketing reports including reach, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Provide insights on audience behaviour and content performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all marketing activities and outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors' degree (BSc) or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing, social media management, or a related role within the filmmaking industry, entertainment, or media production.
  • Strong experience executing marketing campaigns and managing social media accounts.
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in social media tools, analytics platforms, and basic design software.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling ability.
