About the Job: In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding market presence and developing strong relationships with distributors, retailers and strategic partners. In this role, you are required to possess expert knowledge of wholesale distribution. You will conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs to successfully grow the brand and achieve sales targets.
Success in this role requires a proactive minded professional who thrives in building long-term strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, increasing brand visibility across wholesale, retail, e-commerce and distribution channels.
You are expected to have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy
Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities in cosmetics markets
Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals
Conduct market research to track industry trends, competitor activity and consumer preferences
Prepare and present business proposals, pricing strategies and growth plans
Sales & Partnership
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, salons, e-commerce platforms and key accounts
Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and agreements to maximize profitability
Drive new product launches and expansion into new channels or regions
Branding & Market Presence
Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns, trade shows, exhibitions and product launches
Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs and business meetings
Provide feedback from the market to support product development and innovation
Report & Analysis
Prepare regular sales reports, forecast and performance analysis for management
Track KPIs, customer acquisition, revenue growth and market penetration
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in business development/sales, preferably within the cosmetics, beauty or personal care industry
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new markets
Experience working with distributors, retailers or international market is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
Excellent understanding of cosmetics products, trends and regulatory considerations
Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
Successful execution of product launches
