About the Job
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive client acquisition, product promotion, and conversion of prospects into active investment clients.
The role requires a highly motivated and target-driven individual who can identify business opportunities, educate clients on financial products, and build sustainable client relationships while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Lead Generation
- Identify and onboard new clients for brokerage and investment services.
- Generate leads through field marketing, referrals, networking, and digital channels.
- Convert prospects into funded and active trading accounts.
Product Promotion & Advisory
- Promote investment portfolios, equities trading accounts, and other financial products.
- Educate prospective clients on market opportunities and account opening procedures.
- Provide basic guidance on suitable investment options aligned with client needs.
Sales Performance & Target Delivery
- Meet assigned sales targets and defined performance KPIs.
- Drive fund mobilization and increase retail account penetration.
- Maintain high conversion ratios from prospect to active client.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all onboarding documentation complies with KYC and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transactions.
- Adhere strictly to internal policies and capital market regulations.
Relationship Management & Market Intelligence
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships to encourage retention and referrals.
- Provide regular feedback on market trends and competitor activities.
- Support management with insights to improve sales strategies.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related discipline.
- Prior sales or marketing experience (experience in financial services is an advantage).
- Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products.
- Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
