Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and strengthen strategic partnerships for our event management company. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in Lagos, excellent sales skills, and a deep understanding of the events and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within corporate, social, and entertainment sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients
  • Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities
  • Attend networking events, industry functions, and exhibitions to promote the company
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular performance reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of proven experience in business development or sales (preferably in events, hospitality, or entertainment)
  • Strong network within Lagos corporate and social scene is a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
