Job Title: Warehouse Officer

Reports to: Warehouse Manager / Supply Chain Manager
Role Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficiency, accuracy, and compliant handling of all warehouse operations, supporting the company's supply chain performance. This role safeguards product quality, maintains inventory integrity, and ensures timely movement of goods in line with global standards for personal care products.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/WMS systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stock counts.
- Monitor stock levels and flag potential shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure proper batch/lot tracking, FEFO/FIFO compliance, and shelf‑life monitoring.
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive personal care products to maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with transport partners.
- Prepare and verify documentation such as GRNs, delivery notes, and shipment records.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Enforce adherence to company SOPs, GMP, and HSE guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Support audits (internal, external, regulatory) by providing accurate records.
- Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, hygiene) for personal care products.
Systems & Reporting
- Update ERP/WMS systems in real time for all stock movements.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse performance reports.
- Track KPIs such as order accuracy, stock variance, and turnaround time.
Team Coordination & Vendor Interaction
- Work closely with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams.
- Supervise warehouse assistants, loaders, and forklift operators.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and 3PL partners to resolve operational issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4 years of warehouse experience, preferably in FMCG or personal care manufacturing.
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Strong understanding of inventory control, FEFO/FIFO, and warehouse best practices.
- Knowledge of GMP, HSE, and quality standards relevant to personal care products.
