Role Summary

This is not a content execution role—it is a narrative ownership role.

We are looking for a Marketing Lead / Head of Storytelling who can craft and control a unified, compelling narrative across all touchpoints. You will shape how the company is perceived by CISOs, CROs, founders, and investors—ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across platforms.

The ideal candidate understands how to turn complex ideas into powerful stories that drive credibility, influence decisions, and accelerate growth.

What You'll Own

Narrative & Brand Voice

Own and define the company's voice across LinkedIn, pitch decks, whitepapers, keynote presentations, and product messaging

Ensure consistency in tone and storytelling across all internal and external communications

Thought Leadership & Strategic Content

Lead the development and publishing of the company's annual report

Create high-impact, ROI-driven case studies and campaign assets that drive conversions—not just engagement

Translate complex cybersecurity and AI concepts into clear, compelling narratives

Media & Market Influence

Secure earned media placements in leading publications such as Forbes Africa, FT Africa, TechCabal, BusinessDay NG, and TechCrunch

Position the company as a thought leader within the African and global tech ecosystem

Audience-Centric Messaging

Develop a messaging matrix tailored to key ICPs: CISO, CFO, startup founders, investors, and technical leaders

Align messaging with B2B buying psychology and decision-making dynamics

Sales & Leadership Enablement

Coach sales teams and leadership on how to communicate effectively in high-stakes environments

Shape narratives used in boardrooms, investor meetings, and enterprise sales conversations

Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing within the African tech ecosystem

Proven track record of producing high-impact storytelling and thought leadership content

Deep understanding of B2B buying behavior across technical and executive audiences (CISO, CRO, CTO, CFO)

Experience working with or within high-growth tech or cybersecurity environments

Strong portfolio demonstrating narrative development, media placements, and strategic campaigns

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
