We are a faith-based organisation committed to spiritual growth, community impact, and operational excellence. We seek a dedicated and values-driven Human Resources Manager to oversee HR functions and support leadership in building a strong, mission-aligned workforce.

Job Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will align HR strategies with the organisation's mission and values.

Candidates with the capacity to also function as an Executive Assistant to senior leadership will be considered for an upgraded compensation package.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Management

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organisational goals
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Oversee employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
  • Drive performance management and staff development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal policies
  • Manage payroll coordination, benefits, and compensation structures
  • Foster a positive, mission-driven workplace culture

Administrative & Organisational Support

  • Coordinate staff schedules, meetings, and internal communications
  • Maintain HR systems and reporting structures
  • Support leadership with HR analytics and workforce planning

Additional Responsibilities (Executive Assistant – Optional)

(Applicable for candidates qualifying for ₦500,000/month package)

  • Provide direct administrative support to senior leadership
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and executive correspondence
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and leadership engagements
  • Handle confidential information with discretion
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and internal/external stakeholders

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 4–6 years HR experience (experience in a religious or non-profit setting is an advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a faith-based environment and align with organisational values

For Executive Assistant Consideration

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and manage high-level responsibilities efficiently
