As part of its commitment to expanding critical care services, the organization is seeking experienced ICU Intensivists to provide specialized care for critically ill patients.
Job Summary
You will be responsible for managing critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), providing advanced life support, and coordinating multidisciplinary care. The role requires expertise in critical care medicine, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage complex clinical cases.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Patient Management
- Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Perform advanced life support procedures and critical interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Manage ventilated patients and other life-support systems.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with consultants, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ward rounds and case discussions.
- Ensure continuity of care across departments.
Clinical Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and international best practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
Emergency Response
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the hospital.
- Provide critical care support during complex procedures.
Reporting Structure
Reports To: Head of Critical Care / Medical Director
Educational Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (FWACS, FMCP, or equivalent).
- Valid practicing license.
- ACLS Certification (mandatory)
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's)
Experience
- Minimum of 5–10 years' experience in critical care or intensive care medicine.
- Minimum of 3 years post-fellowship experience

- Critical care protocols and ICU management
