About the Job
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects from the initial design stage through to project completion. The role involves minimizing project costs while maintaining quality standards and ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.

Monitor project costs and track variations throughout the construction lifecycle.

Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering exercises.

Prepare tender and contract documents, including BOQs.

Evaluate contractor quotations and negotiate contract terms.

Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance project works.

Manage interim valuations and final accounts.

Assess and process payment certificates for contractors and subcontractors.

Monitor project progress and prepare cost reports.

Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

Provide advice on procurement strategy and cost control measures.
Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying.

Strong knowledge of construction cost management and procurement processes.

Experience in preparing BOQs and tender documentation.

Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Good understanding of construction contracts and cost control techniques.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.
