Job Summary
You will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care across surgical and procedural settings. The role involves pre-operative assessment, intra-operative management, and post-operative care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while adhering to global best practices and clinical governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Anesthesia Administration
Clinical Care & Anesthesia Management
- Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and risk evaluations.
- Administer anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage complications effectively.
- Provide post-operative pain management and recovery care.
Critical Care Support
- Support ICU teams in airway management and sedation protocols.
- Participate in emergency response and resuscitation activities.
Compliance & Clinical Governance
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and anesthesia records.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Reports To: Head of Clinical Services
Educational Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree

Fellowship qualification (FWACS, FMCS, NPMCN or internationally recognized equivalent)

Valid MDCN specialist registration (mandatory)
- ACLS Certification (mandatory)
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's)

- Minimum of 3 years post-fellowship experience
