About the job Order Processing Executive
The Order Processing Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end order fulfilment process, ensuring customer orders across ecommerce platforms and D2C website are accurately processed, tracked, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. This role is vital in ensuring accurate order reconciliation, timely shipping, and effective returns management and requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, review, and process customer orders across multiple ecommerce marketplaces and D2C website.
- Verify order details, pricing, stock availability, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with internal teams including sales, warehouse, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth order execution.
- Generate and maintain sales orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates or delays to customers.
- Resolve any order discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order transactions.
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
- Support the finance team with order-related documentation for billing and payment processing.
- Continuously improve the order processing workflow for efficiency and accuracy.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in ecommerce order processing, with hands-on experience on ecommerce platforms
- Knowledge of D2C order processing and familiarity with reconciliation processes for both orders and shipping
- Strong organizational and multitasking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
