About the job Insurance Sales Broker
The Insurance Broker will provide professional insurance services to clients in both commercial and personal lines. The role involves sourcing, advising, and placing insurance products while ensuring full compliance with RE5 and FAIS Fit and Proper requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advise clients on appropriate commercial and personal insurance products.
- Source and develop new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals, renewals, and claims submissions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including RE5 registration and FAIS Fit and proper standards.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to overall business growth.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Provide timely support and follow-up on client queries and claims.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- RE5 license required.
- FAIS Fit and Proper compliance mandatory.
- 3–5 years' experience as an insurance broker.
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Strong client service, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Travel may be required to meet clients and attend industry events.
