About the job Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will oversee financial management, reporting, and compliance across multiple business locations globally. The role ensures accuracy, transparency, and strategic insight in financial operations, supporting effective decision-making and sustainable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for all assigned business units.
- Monitor and control budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to meet organizational objectives.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business planning and decision-making.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for all assigned entities.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to ensure financial control.
- Manage cash flow and working capital requirements across multiple business units.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives.
- Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role in a multi-entity environment.
- Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in financial management, ideally within insurance, trading, or broking industries.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate finance principles.
- Experience in managing multi-country operations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Knowledge of multi-country tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
