They are now seeking an enthusiastic University Intern to join their Financial Department and gain valuable experience in the dynamic world of fashion finance.
About the Role
As a University Intern in the Financial Department, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced finance professionals and contribute to real-world projects that support the financial health of the organization. This internship is designed to provide practical experience in financial operations, reporting, and analysis within the fast-paced and exciting fashion industry. You will also gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Support: Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
- Reporting & Analysis: Help prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and performance metrics under the guidance of senior team members.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts by gathering and organizing relevant financial data.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate financial records and assist with documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Process Improvement: Contribute ideas for streamlining financial processes and improving operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in finance and a desire to learn about financial operations in the fashion industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
- Availability to commit to the internship for at least 36 months (part-time or full-time, depending on academic requirements).
