Procurement Manager (m/f/d) Indirect Material & Services

Job description

As Procurement Manager for indirect material and services at Instagrid you will be in charge of all purchasing activities in respect of marketing and IT services, hardware, equipment and office, car fleet, general services, and many more. You make sure that our spend for non-production related material is centralized and managed under the best available terms and conditions. By doing so, you will be implementing lean and efficient purchasing processes and bundling all purchasing transactions under one roof.

In your main tasks you will be responsible for

• being the go-to person in daily business for all commercial activities related to indirect material and service. You make sure that we buy under best conditions by conducting price comparisons
• taking over all central procurement processes including demand analysis, procurement market analysis, RFQs and RFPs
• standardizing our RFQ and RFP processes
• identifying, evaluating, and implementing suitable vendors and establishing the respective vendor management
• preparing supplier negotiations and evaluations along with establishing performance metrics for the operational purchasing
• engaging in close collaboration with your internal customers, colleagues, and departments to best serve their needs
• supporting the introduction of lean and digital purchasing processes together with our ERP team

Job requirements

• You have a commercial education or hold a bachelors degree in economics, business administration or the like
• You have first and relevant professional experience for 3+ years in the context of indirect procurement
• You are solution oriented, reliable and analytical, and you work in a structured way
• You are professional and clear in your collaboration with suppliers and confident in supplier negotiations
• You are a good communicator to your vendors and partners in the supply network
• Experience with NetSuite / Oracle is a plus
• You speak German and English fluently
