Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager for Wafer Test to lead engineering initiatives across new product introduction, probe card technology, test cell deployment, and productivity enhancement. This role works closely with internal engineering, operations, R&D, and business line teams to ensure efficient, high-quality wafer test performance and readiness for future product and technology needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product test, test technology, project teams, and platform managers to define, evaluate, and release First of a Kind test tools into production
- Support hardware design teams in designing, evaluating, and releasing new probe card technologies
- Drive new product probe cards to production and ensure the successful release of new test cells, testers, probers, AOI systems, and major hardware configurations
- Identify and evaluate new tools and technologies required to support upcoming business and product needs
- Generate improvement ideas and implement productivity enhancements across Test Engineering, Operations, and Business Line teams
- Contribute to corporate quality goals by participating in cross-functional quality improvement teams
- Support Operations teams in improving the manufacturing master data tooling and related processes
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering within development or manufacturing environments
- Strong experience with semiconductor automated test equipment (ATE) from leading suppliers
- Proven track record in wafer test engineering problem-solving
- Knowledge of R&D processes, test development, test hardware design, or related semiconductor test technologies
- Familiarity with wafer probers and package test handlers from well-known vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholders in a multicultural, international environment
- Thai nationality required (optional, confirm if you want this included)
