Senior Staff Engineer - Test Hardware Technology
Samut Prakan, Thailand | 80K - 120K THB/month
We're seeking a Senior Staff Engineer with strong experience in mechanical design and test hardware integration to join a leading multinational manufacturing environment. This role focuses on printed circuit boards (PCBs), contact sockets, and test mechanical hardware components that serve as interfaces between semiconductor products and automated test equipment (ATE).
What you'll do
- Analyze product and manufacturing requirements for functional testing
- Work in a mechanical design team using 2D CAD tools, ensuring compliance with design standards
- Create AutoCAD drawings for test hardware integration into PCB designs
- Apply established templates, rules, and guidelines for consistent outputs
- Support volume ramp-up of new interface solutions at production sites
- Contribute to innovation and PCB design projects as a team member
- Collaborate with global engineering, development, supplier, and test house teams
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years of design experience
- Strong skills in 2D AutoCAD drafting (including measurements, tolerances, and production standards)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and hardware design specifications
- Familiarity with PCB design and/or PCB manufacturing workflows
- Good communication skills and ability to work in international, interdisciplinary teams
- Fluent English proficiency
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Nice to have
- 3D CAD modeling experience
- Programming or scripting knowledge
- Experience in multinational or high-volume manufacturing environments
