About the job Lead UX/UI Designer
ABOUT AN OPEN POSITION:
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer who will also take on a UX/UI Team Lead role within the Lithuanian design team. This position combines hands-on design work with mentoring designers and collaborating with international teams.
You will join a multi-country design team and work on complex digital products. Your first project will be with a US-based healthcare technology company undergoing a major digital transformation, including the integration of AI capabilities.
Over time, you may also contribute to projects across other industries such as banking, fintech, healthcare, and startups.
YOU WILL:
- Design intuitive and visually consistent digital experiences across web and mobile products.
- Own the end-to-end design process — from discovery and research insights to final design delivery and iteration.
- Translate complex requirements, research findings, and business goals into clear and usable digital journeys.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and scalable design systems that ensure consistency across products.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, researchers, and stakeholders in agile environments.
- Participate in research planning and testing cycles to continuously improve user experience.
- Clearly present and justify design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusive design principles are embedded into product experiences.
- Mentor and support the professional growth of designers within the Lithuanian team-
- Conduct regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and performance conversations.
WHAT WE EXPECT YOU WILL BRING:
- 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
- Strong capability in both user experience and visual design.
- Experience designing web platforms and mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of interaction design, layout, hierarchy, typography, and design systems.
- Strong proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience applying UX research insights to design decisions.
- Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design standards (WCAG).
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and evolving project requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring or supporting other designers.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience designing for healthcare, insurance, or other complex domains.
- Exposure to AI-driven products or AI-assisted design workflows.
- Experience with service design or behavioural design methods.
- Knowledge of mobile design guidelines for iOS and Android.

For this role, we offer a Gross (before taxes) salary range of 3700 - 6000 EUR/month. The final salary agreement is based on skills and experience.
