We're expanding our offering to support overnight trading to Asia and looking for a motivated IT Support Specialist to help us keep our systems running smoothly.

What You'll Do

This is a paid internship role leading to a fulltime employment offer after 90 days for an IT Support Specialist (Level 1/2) at DASTrader.com. Fully Remote, the specialist will handle technical support and troubleshooting for help desk inquiries and other IT-related issues. The day-to-day tasks include assisting users with hardware and software problems, providing help desk support, and maintaining IT systems to ensure smooth operation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 support for hardware, software, and networks issues.
  • Troubleshoot Windows Server OS, Office 365, VPN, FIX, and application Support to our proprietary software interfaces to our customers during 20/5 hours of trading. 
  • Respond to support tickets via email, phone, Teams chat. 
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding (account setup, device provisioning). 
  • Document issues and resolutions accurately. 
  • Collaborate with global IT teams and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Working hours 5 days weekly during Asia hours.

What Were Looking For

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Multiple lingual in English, Mandurian, Japanese language skills are a plus.
  • Resides in any of these countries: China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea,
    Philippines, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

Bonus Skills

  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL).
  • Experience in multinational or bilingual environments.
  • Working knowledge with VPN, SQL database and Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with Finance, Investing and Stock Trading.
