AthletIQ is a SaaS marketplace that connects college athletes with local businesses for NCAA-compliant NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deals. We automate contracts, escrow payments, and disclosure filings allowing brands to run campaigns without legal complications.

Mission of the Role
Take ownership of top-of-funnel outreach to small and mid-sized businesses near NCAA
Division I and II campuses in Utah and Southern California. Your role is to turn free sign-ups into active marketing campaigns on the AthletIQ platform.

Core Responsibilities & Weekly Outputs

  • Prospecting & Research (40%)
    Identify and source new business leads. Upload prospects into HubSpot with complete and accurate contact information.                                                 
    Weekly outputs: Source 200-250 new leads and upload to HubSpot with clean contact data.
  • Outbound Outreach (40%)
    Engage potential customers through a multi-channel outreach strategy including cold calls, personalized emails, and DMs.
    Weekly outputs:
    80-100 dials + 50 personalized emails/DMs per day via multi-channel sequences.
  • Qualifying & Booking Meetings (15%)
    Qualify leads, schedule demos with interested businesses, and accurately log notes and next steps in the CRM system.
    Weekly outputs:
    8-15 qualified demos per week; log notes & next steps in CRM.
  • Process Improvement (5%)
    Monitor your weekly performance and provide input on script and outreach strategy enhancements.
    Weekly outputs:
    Weekly KPI report; script & list-quality suggestions.

Success Metrics (First 90 Days)

  • Book 10-15 qualified meetings each week
  • Activate 6-10 new brands posting their first offer weekly
  • Generate approx. 30 offers per month
  • Maintain show rate of 75%
  • Maintain qualification rate of 65%
  • Ensure CRM hygiene is 95%

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1-3 years of outbound SDR/BDR experience targeting U.S.-based SMBs
  • Fluent in neutral U.S. English.
  • Comfortable with high-volume activity and performance-based roles.
  • Proficient in CRM tools like HubSpot and lead-gen platforms like Apollo.
  • Strong research and personalization capabilities.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with NIL or U.S. college sports landscape.

Working Hours

Core work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mountain Time (UTC-6), with flexibility for remaining hours.
