The Role
The Client Success Manager (CSM) is the bridge between XP Strategys internal PPC team and our clients. This role ensures that communication, expectations, and performance stay aligned across all active accounts. Youll act as the clients primary point of contact, translating goals and insights into clear tasks for the PPC team, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of results.
This position is ideal for someone with solid Amazon PPC knowledge who enjoys building relationships, managing projects, and keeping teams organized and accountable.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, managing ongoing communication and updates.
- Coordinate work between internal PPC specialists and client teams, ensuring clarity on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Review PPC reports and performance data to translate insights into next steps or strategic recommendations.
- Track milestones, deadlines, and recurring tasks through ClickUp or similar project management systems.
- Lead or join client calls to provide updates, gather feedback, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Identify potential issues early and proactively work with the team to resolve them.
- Maintain organized account documentation and communication logs.
- Support the continuous improvement of client onboarding and retention processes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Amazon PPC or e-commerce account management (agency experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of Amazon Ads metrics and campaign structures.
- Exceptional communication and organization skills must be comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- High level of professionalism and responsiveness in client interactions.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving team environment.
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following tools or platforms is a plus:
- Amazon Seller Central / Campaign Manager
- Helium 10, AdLabs, Data Dive, or similar analytics tools
- ClickUp or comparable project management platforms
- Looker Studio (Google Data Studio)
- Slack, Zoom, and other remote communication tools
Role Details
- Full-Time (Monday Friday, 9 AM 5 PM EST).

They don't have to be a full PPC operator but they must understand Amazon PPC deeply enough to communicate performance, strategy, and priorities clearly. Theyll help manage the flow of work, track deliverables, and ensure that the team is aligned with each clients goals.
Success in this role means organized systems, clear communication, and happy clients who feel confident in the teams execution.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 24 years managing client relationships in an agency or Amazon/eCommerce environment.
- Background: Ideally comes from an Amazon PPC or account management background (not customer service).
Skillset:
- Excellent communication (clear, concise, proactive).
- Highly organized, reliable follow-through, keeps projects moving.
- Confident discussing performance metrics like ACoS, TACoS, and ROAS.
- Can interpret reports, identify issues, and follow up with the right team members.
- Calm under pressure; can handle multiple accounts and personalities.
Personality Fit:
- Professional but approachable communicator.
- Takes ownership and initiative.
- Balances empathy for clients with accountability for the team.
- Thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Must-Have Criteria
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
- Solid understanding of Amazon PPC fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple client relationships at once.
- Exceptional organization follows systems, updates ClickUp or task trackers consistently.
- Professional presence on calls and in written correspondence.
- Responsive and dependable.

- Overly general account management experience (no Amazon context).
- Weak understanding of ad metrics or PPC terminology.
- Disorganized or reactive waits to be told what to do.

- Avoids data or technical discussions.

- Client communications are timely, clear, and professional.
- All accounts are tracked properly in ClickUp with updated notes and deliverables.
- The PPC team reports improved clarity and fewer miscommunications.
