Overview
We are supporting a confidential search for Construction Superintendents to lead multifamily projects across several active markets. These roles are designed for experienced field leaders who take pride in running organized, safe jobsites and delivering high-quality residential projects on schedule.
Superintendents in this role will have full ownership of on-site execution, coordinating teams, subcontractors, and partners to deliver successful multifamily developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily on-site construction operations, supervising field staff, subcontractors, and on-site support teams
- Maintain clear, professional communication with owners, design partners, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal leadership
- Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Drive project schedules, sequencing work to meet critical milestones, inspections, and turnover dates
- Coordinate inspections, testing, permits, site logistics, materials, equipment, and manpower
- Enforce quality control standards and oversee correction of deficient or non-conforming work
- Review subcontractor scopes to confirm full coverage and coordinate closely with project management prior to award and final payment
- Participate in jobsite meetings, field coordination meetings, and internal training programs
- Support project billing and subcontractor payment processes through accurate, timely field documentation
- Maintain organized, professional jobsites with a strong safety culture

- Lead ground-up or large-scale multifamily residential projects
- Coordinate multiple trades and phased scopes across complex building schedules
- Emphasis on safety, quality, schedule adherence, and team coordination
- Work closely with project management to manage logistics, sequencing, and closeout
What Were Looking For
- Trade school, apprenticeship program, bachelors degree in construction management or civil engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a superintendent or foreman role
- Experience in multifamily or large-scale residential construction strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain control of active jobsites
- Excellent planning, organization, and prioritization skills
- Comfortable using field technology and basic construction software
- Proven ability to influence subcontractors and teams to achieve results
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
