About the job Senior Accounts Receivable Team Leader
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) professional who can take ownership of the AR function and potentially step into a team leadership or managerial role. This is a challenging and fast-paced position requiring strong attention to detail, process improvement capabilities, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
If we do not find a candidate with direct management experience, we are also open to reviewing strong senior-level AR specialists who demonstrate the potential to grow into a leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.

Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow.

Develop, implement, and optimize AR procedures and controls.

Manage and support the AR team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback (for managerial candidates).

Collaborate with finance, operations, and customer service teams to resolve billing or payment issues.

Prepare AR reports and summaries for management review.

Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR.
Requirements:

Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR best practices.

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience leading or mentoring a team (advantageous).

Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
