Senior Accounts Receivable Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) professional who can take ownership of the AR function and potentially step into a team leadership or managerial role. This is a challenging and fast-paced position requiring strong attention to detail, process improvement capabilities, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

If we do not find a candidate with direct management experience, we are also open to reviewing strong senior-level AR specialists who demonstrate the potential to grow into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.

• Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow.

• Develop, implement, and optimize AR procedures and controls.

• Manage and support the AR team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback (for managerial candidates).

• Collaborate with finance, operations, and customer service teams to resolve billing or payment issues.

• Prepare AR reports and summaries for management review.

• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR best practices.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Experience leading or mentoring a team (advantageous).

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
