Customer Service Specialist/ Receptionist

Overview:
Following our discussion, we are looking for a reliable and friendly Admin / Customer Service Specialist to assist with handling incoming customer orders, capturing them accurately into the system, and supporting general administrative tasks as needed. This role supports a business selling pastries, baked goods, and related products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and take customer orders

  • Accurately capture and enter orders into the system

  • Handle general administrative tasks as they arise

  • Maintain accurate records of orders and customer details

  • Learn and understand the product range to assist customers effectively

  • Provide professional, friendly, and pleasant customer service at all times

Working Hours

  • 8:00am – 2:00pm EST, Monday to Friday

  • South African time: 3:00pm – 9:00pm SAST

  • Additional hours may be required in the future

  • Role will start part-time, with the intention to grow into full-time

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Tech savvy and comfortable working on systems

  • Well-organised, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently

  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
