Payroll Bookkeeper -Part Time

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Bookkeeper to join our US team. The Payroll Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining payroll records, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This role also involves participation in tax credit projects, making it an exciting opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll tasks for all employees accurately and within specified timelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive payroll records, documenting any changes in employee pay rates, bonuses, or deductions.
  • Monitor and track performance reviews and pay increases for all staff.
  • Generate, distribute, and reconcile payroll reports.
  • Assist in complex projects, such as the Grow NJ tax credit program, by maintaining meticulous records and ensuring attention to detail.
  • Complete and submit disability, verification of employment, and unemployment claims forms as required.
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with payroll software programs.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous experience with payroll processing is a plus.

Own laptop is required & UPS/ Backup Power
