Insurance Administrative Assistant
Location: Remote
Full-time: 3pm -11pm
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Administrative Assistant to support our insurance and risk management operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks within an insurance environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for insurance policies, claims, and client accounts.
Prepare, process, and maintain insurance documents, applications, and correspondence.
Assist with policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
Manage databases and ensure accurate data entry of client and policy information.
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing timely and professional support.
Support brokers and account managers with day-to-day operational tasks.
Coordinate internal and external communications, including scheduling meetings and maintaining records.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in an insurance or related administrative role.
Strong knowledge of insurance policies, terminology, and processes.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
Experience with insurance software systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar).
Knowledge of both personal and commercial insurance products.
