QuickBooks Bookkeeper

We are seeking a high-quality Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant with 2–4 years of experience to join our team supporting clients in our accounting firm.  The role will involve working with high end established businesses.

Requiring a candidate who is professional, detail-oriented, and capable of handling financial tasks with accuracy and confidence.

This position can be full-time or part-time, with core working hours aligned to 09:00 – 13:00 weekdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks

  • Processing and managing payroll

  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns

  • Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Assisting with end-of-month reporting

  • Maintaining accurate financial records

  • Supporting senior accountants with financial data preparation

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and procedures

Requirements:

  • 2 - 4 years bookkeeping or accounting experience

  • Practical experience working with QuickBooks

  • Strong understanding of payroll, VAT, reconciliations, and month-end processes

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Strong team player with good communication skills

  • Ability to manage responsibilities confidently while working with oversight

  • Relevant accounting qualifications listed on the CV will be highly advantageous
