QuickBooks Bookkeeper
We are seeking a high-quality Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant with 2–4 years of experience to join our team supporting clients in our accounting firm. The role will involve working with high end established businesses.
Requiring a candidate who is professional, detail-oriented, and capable of handling financial tasks with accuracy and confidence.
This position can be full-time or part-time, with core working hours aligned to 09:00 – 13:00 weekdays.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks

Processing and managing payroll

Preparing and submitting VAT returns

Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Assisting with end-of-month reporting

Maintaining accurate financial records

Supporting senior accountants with financial data preparation

Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and procedures
Requirements:
2 - 4 years bookkeeping or accounting experience

Practical experience working with QuickBooks

Strong understanding of payroll, VAT, reconciliations, and month-end processes

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Strong team player with good communication skills

Ability to manage responsibilities confidently while working with oversight

Relevant accounting qualifications listed on the CV will be highly advantageous
