Food Safety Manager
Job Description:
A leading confectionery manufacturer in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, is hiring a full-time Food Safety Manager to oversee food safety systems at its new production facility. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, certification standards (such as ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSC 22000, BRC), and experience in managing audits, compliance programs, and risk assessments. This role involves developing and maintaining food safety protocols, training staff, ensuring traceability and allergen controls, and driving continuous improvement. The position is critical in safeguarding product integrity and supporting the companys commitment to high-quality, safe, and compliant confectionery products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 systems.
- Conduct internal and external food safety audits.
- Identify food safety risks and lead corrective actions.
- Monitor sanitation, allergen control, pest control, and hygiene compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and staff training records.
- Collaborate with quality and production teams to ensure consistent safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of food safety management experience in food manufacturing.
- Experience with third-party audits and regulatory inspections.
- Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000 preferred.
Salary Range:
AED 12,000 to AED 21,000
