About the job IT Project Manager
Job Purpose:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across the group. This job works closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the desired scope and quality.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute IT projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets using project management tools and techniques.
- Monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks, and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management on a regular basis.
- Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure that project team members are accountable, motivated, and working effectively as a team.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to project team members and stakeholders.
Continuously improve project management processes and practices to ensure successful project delivery. - Uphold company values throughout business practices and use sound judgement in decision making.
- Any other added duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related role.
- Proven work experience of successfully managing IT projects and delivering software solutions on time and within budget.
- Experience in managing Agile/Scrum projects is a plus.
Required Qualification:
- Relevant Bachelors degree in related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
