Job Title: Finance Manager - Middle East
Location: NIP Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE

Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Finance Manager to lead and streamline the Middle East finance function. The role requires strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to optimize processes while ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. The Finance Manager will play a key role in improving financial performance, reporting, and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve finance processes and identify smarter ways to achieve

    strategic goals, driving efficiency and minimizing functional costs.
  • Identify and deliver profit improvement measures, with SMART profit improvement targets set annually in coordination with the Financial Controller ME and ME CFO.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the company's financial performance, identifying trends and recommending strategies for improvement.
  • Oversee and improve Middle East financial analysis and reporting using tools such as Power BI, automation, and technology enhancements.
  • Manage daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Personally generate and review periodic financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, HR, Finance) to provide actionable financial insights for business decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with international and local accounting standards.
  • Support annual audit processes, liaising with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Lead internal audits and internal control assessments, ensuring follow-up and closure of relevant actions.
  • Prepare quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and lead reviews with the
  • Financial Controller ME for presentation to the ME CFO.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  • Support ERP improvement projects, including potential future implementations.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulations affecting financial reporting and compliance.
  • Manage banking and treasury activities, including bank guarantees, letters of credit (LCs), and related requirements.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

  • Chartered Accountant with a globally recognized qualification.

    5-10 years of relevant experience in equivalent industries and the Middle East

    region.
  • Hands-on experience in financial reporting, FP&A, and transactional activity; not purely a management role.
  • Experience managing a small team and optimizing resources and costs.

  • Strong FP&A experience and history of improving reporting is highly advantageous.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic skills are a plus but not mandatory.

  • Advanced MS Office skills; excellent knowledge of ERPs, including MS Navision and Hyperion HFM.
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance and banking operations.

  • Power BI and data visualization skills are highly desirable.

  • Awareness of AI applications in finance and business is advantageous.

Role Details:

  • Working Days: Monday to Friday

  • Experience Level: Mid-Senior

  • Required Travel: 11% - 30%

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Monthly Gross Salary: AED 20,000 - 25,000

  • Other Benefits: As per UAE Labor Law
