Job Description:
Job Title: Factory Manager Ladder & Helmet Manufacturing
Job Summary
To oversee and manage the complete operations of the factory for ladder and helmet production, ensuring raw material procurement, production quality, staff management, compliance with safety standards, and timely delivery of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Quality
- Plan, schedule, and supervise production of ladders (aluminum/fiberglass) and safety helmets (plastic/composite).
- Ensure compliance with EN 131, ANSI, OSHA (ladders) and EN 397, ANSI Z89 (helmets) standards.
- Implement testing procedures (load testing, impact testing, durability checks).
- Optimize production lines for efficiency and cost savings.
Procurement & Inventory
- Source and purchase raw materials (aluminum profiles, fiberglass sheets, resins, plastics, harness components, fasteners).
- Manage supplier negotiations and control material costs.
- Maintain adequate stock levels with minimal wastage.
Delivery & Logistics
- Coordinate dispatch of finished ladders and helmets to local and export markets.
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining packaging and safety compliance.
Staff & Workforce Management
- Supervise and train workers, technicians, and supervisors.
- Monitor performance, ensure discipline, and promote productivity.
- Implement safety and health regulations within the factory.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports on production, inventory, and dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, health & safety, and factory laws.
- Suggest improvements for cost control, efficiency, and product innovation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in ladder and/or helmet manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of materials: aluminum, fiberglass, plastics, composites.
- Familiarity with machinery: extrusion, welding, injection molding, finishing, testing equipment.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage 50-200 staff.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Competitive salary: AED 12,000 - 20,000/month (depending on experience).
