Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Support Engineer to assist in the preparation of technical documents, support project teams, handle client queries, and coordinate with suppliers and internal departments. The role involves ensuring smooth project documentation, order tracking, technical support, and coordination within the Road Safety Department. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare electronic and printed documents required for company prequalification and registrations.
• Handle preparation of pre-qualification documents, material submittals, and quotations.
• Respond to client and consultant technical and commercial queries.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers when needed.
• Ensure vendor portal login credentials are maintained and up to date.
• Coordinate with administration and logistics teams regarding deliveries, installations, and order follow-ups.
• Complete forms and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Use project database software to search information and prepare required reports.
• Initiate and manage customer requirement surveys and gather client feedback.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project progress aligns with schedules.
• Prepare project status reports for management, clients, and project personnel; adjust schedules as required.
• Maintain a well-organized project filing system to support infrastructure functions.
• Track project status and communicate updates to internal teams, clients, and business partners.
• Monitor and track project orders.
• Communicate and distribute project-related information to vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in compiling project reconciliation documents.
• Organize and maintain project documentation as per company SOP.
• Collaborate with office teams and site supervisors/engineers to resolve project issues and propose alternative solutions.
• Send enquiries to suppliers and follow up as needed.
• Prepare and maintain necessary log files related to project works.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3-4 years of experience in technical support, engineering coordination, or similar roles within infrastructure or road safety projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic project documentation tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with office teams and site personnel.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Indian or Filipino Mechanical Engineers preferred.
• Experience in UAE is an advantage.

Compensation:
Salary Range: AED 4,000 - AED 8,000 based on experience and qualifications.
