Job Purpose:

Lead the development and delivery of MEP design solutions and authority-compliant drawings, manage statutory submissions, and coordinate with authorities, clients, and project teams to ensure timely approvals and effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and review MEP designs (HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting/Alarm, Electrical, ELV) per project requirements, codes, and regulations.

Supervise MEP design engineers and draftsmen to produce accurate drawings, layouts, schedules, and reports.

Ensure quality control on all deliverables before submission.

Coordinate with Structural/Architectural teams to resolve design clashes and interface issues.

Prepare and submit MEP authority approval packages; liaise with authorities, clients, and consultants to secure approvals.

Lead meetings to present designs, justify technical selections, and resolve queries.

Propose value engineering solutions to optimize cost, efficiency, and constructability.

Support site teams by resolving coordination issues, responding to RFIs, and providing technical guidance.

Maintain proper records of revisions, submissions, and approvals.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)

Certifications: Green Building / LEED (Preferred)

Experience: 10–15 years total;
5–8 years relevant experience in Contracting/Warehousing in UAE/GCC

Project Domain: Industrial / Design-Build / Built
