Job Purpose To lead and implement the project quality assurance and quality

control requirements for civil works, ensuring all construction

activities, materials, inspections, and test results comply with

approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and

applicable standards and authority/client requirements, while

proactively preventing non-conformities and supporting timely

handover through complete quality documentation and close-out.

Key Responsibilities
Project Quality Management & Delivery
Lead the implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and
ensure alignment with contract specifications, drawings, and
applicable codes and standards.
Take ownership of overall civil quality performance on the
project and proactively drive quality objectives.
Ensure all civil construction activities are executed strictly as
per approved method statements, ITPs, and shop drawings.
Anticipate quality risks and initiate preventive actions to avoid
NCRs and rework.
Support project delivery milestones while maintaining
uncompromised quality standards.
Site Inspections, Testing & Quality Control
Lead and coordinate daily QAQC site inspections for all civil
works.
Assign inspection responsibilities to QAQC engineers and
inspectors and monitor their effectiveness.
Ensure all required inspections, material approvals, sampling,
and testing are conducted as per approved procedures.
Review and validate inspection reports and test results prior to
submission to consultants/clients.
Documentation, Audits & Reporting
Oversee preparation, review, and submission of QAQC
documents including MIRs, WIRs, ITPs, method statements,
checklists, and test reports.
Review, approve, and issue NCRs, observations, and SORs
where non-conformances are identified.
Lead NCR management, root cause analysis, and verification of
corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure all quality records are properly maintained, traceable,
and audit ready.
Represent the project during internal, client, consultant, and
ISO audits.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
Act as the primary QAQC focal point for the project in
coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Lead quality meetings, site inspections, and walkthroughs with
external stakeholders.
Coordinate closely with construction teams to resolve quality-
related issues.
Ensure subcontractors understand and comply with project
quality requirements.
Escalate recurring or critical quality issues to project
management with clear recommendations.
Team Leadership, Training & Compliance
Lead, mentor, and supervise the QAQC team, ensuring clear
roles, responsibilities, and accountability.
Plan and allocate QAQC resources in line with project priorities
and construction schedules.
Conduct quality inductions, trainings, and refresher sessions
for QAQC staff and site teams.
Evaluate performance of QAQC team members and provide
technical guidance and feedback.
Promote a strong quality culture across the project site,
emphasizing right-first time execution and compliance with
HSE requirements.

Experience Total 8-10 Years
Relevant 8 years as QA/QC in Civil Construction (Preferred Warehouse)
in UAE

Market/Geography UAE/GCC experience only. (Dubai Preference)
